Enrolment Information for Overseas
Undergraduate Students

1. Application requirements

（1）HSK Certificate Level 4 or above or tested to have reached HSK level 4 or above by HIT's Chinese Language Training Center.
（2）High school graduate or the same level of education.
（3）Submit high school report card for the senior year and certificate of authenticity.
（4）Certification of financial supporter's condition and financial guarantee issued by bank.
（5）Health certificate. Physical testing includes AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis Type A and B.
（6） Graduates with two-year associate degree are allowed to apply for entering related majors in HIT in Weihai.

2. Application procedure

（1）Fill out the application form.
（2）Submit documents and certificates required.
（3）With the documents examined, applicants will receive admission letter and Form JW202 issued by the China's Ministry of Education. Applicants should submit the two documents to the Chinese Embassy in their country to apply for an X-status visa.

3. Basic expenses

（1）Application fee: 320RMB/person.
（2）Tuition:
　 ①Undergraduate: 18000RMB/year/person. (16400RMB/year/person for Chinese Lauguage, 25000RMB/person for the last two years in School of Software Engineering).
　 ②Postgraduate: 25000RMB/year/person.
　 ③ Doctor: 33000RMB/year/person.

（3）Books fee: 500RMB/year/person. (Variable)
（4）Accommodations: Four-person room: 3600RMB/year/person, Six-person room: 2400RMB/year/person, Room for overseas students: 12000RMB/year/person.
（5）Fees are possible to alter for unforeseeable reasons.

4. Applying time and location

Applying time: From 1st May to 30th July every year.
Applying location: International office of Harbin Institute of Technology in Weihai.

5. Major set-up for diploma-oriented overseas student

Part three

Information of Three-month Chinese Language courses for beginners, intermediate learners and advanced learners

1. Study period
(1) From early March to late May every year.
(2) From early June to late August every year.
(3) From early September to late November very year.

2. Relevant expenses
(1) Application fee: 260RMB/person.
(2) Tuition fee: 5000RMB/person for three months.
(3) Accommodation fee: 1350RMB/person for Four-person room, 5400RMB/person for Room for overseas students.
(4) Touring expenses depend on itinerary.
(5) Other expenses should be paid independently.
(6) The mentioned expenses may alter for unforeseeable reasons.

Part four

Information of One–term Chinese Language courses for beginners, intermediate learners and advanced learners

1. Study period
(1) From March 1 to July 6 every year
(2) From September 1 to January 6 every year
(3) 18 weeks per term

2. Relevant expense
(1) Application fee: 260RMB/person.
(2) Tuition fee: 6500RMB/person
(3) Accommodation fee: 1800RMB/person for Four-person room, 7200RMB/person for Room for overseas students.
(4) Touring expenses depend on itinerary
(5) Other expense should be paid independently
(6) The mentioned expense may alter for unforeseeable reasons

Part five

Information for overseas-oriented vacation program of Chinese culture

Instructions on enrolment
(1) College group students or middle school group students can apply for the vacation program of Chinese culture.
(2) It is supposed that the application should be submitted to the International Office of Harbin Institute of Technology in Weihai in May for summer holiday program and in October for winter holiday program.
(3) Two-week program
The application fee: 260RMB/person.
The tuition: 1000RMB/person.
The accommodation fee: 225RMB/person for Four-person room, 900RMB/person for Room for overseas students.
(4) Four-week program
The application fee: 260RMB/person.
The tuition: 2000RMB/person.
The accommodation fee: 450RMB/person for Four-person room, 1800RMB/person for Room for overseas students.
(5) Six-week program
The application fee: 260RMB/person.
The tuition: 3000RMB/person.
The accommodation fee: 675RMB/person for Four-person room, 2700RMB/person for Room for overseas students.
